CLAT Preparation- Power of Positivity!
Once you have started with your CLAT preparation, there will be times when you don’t feel like doing anything, there will be times when your heart will tell you to give up and just go with the flow. These times are the real test of your patience and your hunger to achieve something good in life. Always remember, only dead fish go with the flow! This journey of your life is the most crucial part of your life as it will either make or break the bridge which you need to cross in order to be a successful lawyer or more importantly, a humble, equanimous and rational human being.
This article will help you understand the various phases which any law aspirant has to face and the steps which one can take to cross each phase successfully.
The most important idea which needs to be understood is that you will, at times, face problems with concentration and motivation. This is something which is very normal and natural. Just remember that it happens with almost all the aspirants of any competitive exam. In such a situation, you need to distract your mind away from these negative feelings and channelize your thoughts in a more positive direction. Talk to your parents, go for a walk, try to meditate or read some motivational text. You can also practise mindfulness. All you need is a few minutes of solace and complete focus on your thoughts. This will help you relax and stay positive.
Another issue which troubles the students is constant self-doubt. This is something which needs to be eliminated at any cost. You will always get the result as per your efforts and hard work. The concept is very simple, just like the basics of time, speed and distance! The greater is the effort, the better is the result and consequently, the lesser is self-doubt. Remember that all the aspirants are not the same. What works out for you may not work for someone else and vice versa. Just pay attention to your preparation and try to improve yourself. You should be your biggest competitor; try to be better today than what you were yesterday.
The biggest mistake which aspirants make is compromising on their health. Remember that a sound mind resides in a healthy body. Do not show any sort of carelessness when it comes to your health. Drink plenty of water. This will help to keep slothfulness at bay. Go for a walk regularly or exercise for at least 20 minutes on a regular basis. This will help you to improve your blood circulation and thus enhance your brain activity. Sleep for 6 to 7 hours daily. Eat healthy and pay close attention to your daily routine. Plan your day in such a manner that you make the most out of your day productively.
There will be obstacles. There will be doubters. There will be mistakes. But with hard work, there are no limits.
